Meet Ken Smith

My name is Ken Smith. I have been a Connecticut resident all my life, living in New Haven, Darien, Norwalk, New Canaan, and Milford. I have been working continuously in food related services: country clubs, restaurants & health care. I have catered numerous private parties, cooked romantic dinner parties for two, outside barbecues, camp food. I have trained at different culinary schools, including Culinary Institute of America & I have three years scholastic and practical training in nutrition.
My Italian blood guides me in tomato sauces and pasta dishes. My Polish grandma introduced me to using different kind of smoked meets. My Scottish background provides hearty soups & casseroles, perfect for the families.
My Georgian wife taught me how to use herbs and vegetables (all organic and natural) and I adopted my Armenian/Russian mother inlaw's glamorous cooking style. All these have been polished and honed for American's taste.
